old hockey puckWhistler Minor Hockey Association operates with an all-volunteer executive. The following descriptions provide specific details and guidelines for all 2010-11 Executive titles.

Volunteer Executive – Job Descriptions

All Volunteers (coaches, managers & safety persons) will require a Criminal Record Check process.

You will require

1.       A Printable PDF of the criminal record check form. Criminal-record-check-form

a.       Forms also available at the RCMP detachment

b.      Pemberton residents must use the Pemberton detachment

2.       WMHA volunteers must complete both sides of the form because we are working with minors

a.       Along with the Crminal Record Check form obtain and hand in a WMHA letter confirming volunteer status (so the record check service is free). Get a letter from:

i.      Steve Legge, steve@legge.com, 604.902.3335

ii.      Bob Andrea, bobandrea@hotmail.ca, 604.938.9628

3.       You must bring two pieces of ID:

a.       Government photo ID

b.      ID with your name and signature i.e. medical card, credit card

4.       If your name, date of birth & sex, or both are similar to someone with a record you will need an extra step in the process, you will be fingerprinted for verification purposes.
