Our camps were developed to provide new and returning players with an opportunity to learn and enhance their fundamental skills in a positive environment. The focus of the camps is centered on on-ice fundamental skills development.
Division groups are based on where your child will be playing next season. Max number of registrations per session is 26 players + goalies.

WMHA Skills Camps objectives:
- Develop and enhance the fundamental skills of skating, passing, stick handling, shooting and goaltending in a fun and safe environment
- Create an opportunity for new players to try hockey, meet other players and develop friendships
- Teach the concepts of fair play and the importance of a positive attitude
- Provide a memorable experience for all who attend
Programs
Hockey 1-4 and Beginner Atom
Focus is on fun & learning for new and beginner players with full ice, half ice drills, stations and small area games. Skating development includes basic instruction in starting & stopping, forwards & backwards striding, balance & turning drills. Skills development includes basic instruction in stick handling, passing and shooting.
Ages: Born in 2003– 2006 Hockey 1-4
Born 2001-2002 Beginner Atoms
Days: Sundays March 27 – May 15 – no session April 24th
Wednesdays March 30, April 6 & 13
Time: 3:30-4:45pm
Fee: $165 (10 sessions)
Atom
Focus is on fun & learning for returning players with full and half ice drills, skills stations, goaltending drills and scrimmages. Refining skating skills including stride, balance, power transfer, edge control, transitioning & maintaining momentum. Enhancing skill development includes puck control techniques, passing, shooting, and scrimmages.
Ages: Atom born 2002-2001
Days: Sundays March 27 – May 15 – no session April 24th
Wednesdays March 30, April 6 & 13
Time: 5:00 – 6:15pm
Fee: $165 (10 sessions)
Peewee and Bantam
Focus is on fun & learning for returning players with full and half ice drills, skills stations, goaltending drills and scrimmages. Refining skating skills including stride, balance, power transfer, edge control, transitioning & maintaining momentum. Enhancing skill development includes puck control techniques, passing, shooting, and scrimmages.
Ages: PeeWee born 2000-1999/Bantam born 1997-1998
Days: Sundays March 27 – May 15 – no session April 24th

Time: 6:30 – 8pm
Fee: $175 (10 sessions)
Midget
Focus on skills/skating development through scrimmage and drills
Ages: born 1996-1994
Days: Tuesdays March 29 – May 17
Time: 8:15 – 9:45pm
Fee: $140 (8 sessions)
Female Development
Focus is on fun & learning for new and beginner players with full ice, half ice drills, stations and small area games. Skating development includes basic instruction in starting & stopping, forwards & backwards striding, balance & turning drills. Skills development includes basic instruction in stick handling, passing and shooting.
Ages: born 2001 & older
Days: Thursdays March 31 – May 12 (no session May 5)
Time: 7:00-8:15pm
Fee: $105 (6 sessions)
