Rep Tryouts Saturday & Sunday September 10 & 11. League Fees must be paid.

Atom 9am to 10:15am.
Peewee 10:30 to 11:45am
Bantam 3:15 to 4:30
Midget 4:45pm to 6:00

NOTICE for GRANFONDO SATURDAY Highway 99 travel south of the Village will be slow and also restricted from 9:30am to 4pm – very very slow and restricted 10am – 12:00pm (especially coming out of the eastern subdivisions south of the Village). On Saturday the Peewee people must get to the arena well before 10am or they will not get there in time!!

Volunteer Criminal Checks

All Volunteers (coaches, managers & safety persons) will require a Criminal Record Check process.

You will require

1.       A Printable PDF of the criminal record check form. Criminal-record-check-form

a.       Forms also available at the RCMP detachment

b.      Pemberton residents must use the Pemberton detachment

2.       WMHA volunteers must complete both sides of the form because we are working with minors

a.       Along with the Crminal Record Check form obtain and hand in a WMHA letter confirming volunteer status (so the record check service is free). Get a letter from:

i.      Steve Legge, steve@legge.com, 604.902.3335

ii.      Bob Andrea, bobandrea@hotmail.ca, 604.938.9628

3.       You must bring two pieces of ID:

a.       Government photo ID

b.      ID with your name and signature i.e. medical card, credit card

4.       If your name, date of birth & sex, or both are similar to someone with a record you will need an extra step in the process, you will be fingerprinted for verification purposes.

Steve Legge Hockey Camp

Back by popular demand is the Steve Legge Hockey Camp to be held the first week of school.

Registration deadline is August 26th and the camp is on a first come first serve basis. Registrations can be filled in and emailed back to Steve Legge at steve@leggie.com. if paying by credit card or if paying by cheque they can be dropped off to Whistler Real Estate attention Steve Legge.  If you are dropping off a registration form at Whistler Real Estate, please email Steve to let him know. 1. Rep tryouts will be held the weekend of September 10 and 11.  Information on times for each division will be posted at a later time.
2. Whistler Minor Hockey practices will begin Monday September 12.
